What are the methods of Payments?

We accept payments through all major payment gateways in Nepal such as esewa, khalti and imepay. We also have the options for Bank Transfer and also Cash on delivery. Cash on delivery is currently accepted in Kathmandu Valley only.

For International purchases, we accept payments via PayPal.

When will my orders delivered? Can I track it?

Outside Kathmandu Valley:
After purchased order is placed we will send an email notification to your email when the order ships out from Books Himalaya. Within this email, will be instructions on how to track the delivery of your order. There will also be a direct link that will transfer you to the specific delivery company’s webpage for further detail.

Inside Kathmandu Valley:
Within Kathmandu valley. We deliver orders on the same day when the order was placed.

How long does it take for me to receive my order?

It depends on the place where the order is going to.

Deliveries are usually done within the same day inside Kathmandu Valley. Regarding deliveries outside Kathmandu, it generally it takes 2 to 3 business days from the day you place the order online.

For International shipping, it takes 7-10 business days.

You will be able to track your order status on the email notification that has instructions on how to track the delivery of your order.

Can I request a specific delivery date and time?

Unfortunately, deliveries outside Kathmandu are made by third parties courier services and specific delivery date and time cannot be preset or requested. But within Kathmandu you can request specific delivery date and time.
